Version 3 of the algorithm does more iterations, then version 2, to get reliable nitrogen dioxide and aerosol extinction profiles. We add corrected profiles of gases to take into account diurnal variations of nitrogen dioxide and ozone.
Version 3s (08 Feb 2008) contains refined corrected profiles of gases.
Version 4 uses version 4 of data of level 1b.
